It’s about 2 month that I want to write an about me page but unfortunately didn’t have time for that. I think today (March 7, 2011) is a good time to write about myself. If you’re a writer or blogger, you may agree with me that writing an about me page is one of the most difficult things to do because you don’t know how to start! But I’m going to do my best.

My name is Mohammad Mahdi Ramezanpour. I work as a Senior Software Developer in AlphaKaran Group in order to help them developing their applications. Before this, I was also worked at Marlik Ltd., the most famous company in hotel reservations applications in Iran and developed bunch of applications for them. I have worked in 3 other places to and I think it’s not the time to about them but if you’re interested in details, checkout my resume.

I started to develop apps when I was 14 (I think) using VB 5 and SQL Server 6.5. After two years, I started web applications development using classic ASP 3 and continued my Windows application development side-by-side.

Once .NET technology introduced by Microsoft, I switched everything to .NET and started developing apps using Microsoft .NET Framework platform both on Windows and Web. Since then, I develop all of my applications using .NET and I’m satisfied.

I had two Microsoft certifications but unfortunately both of them are expired right now and I think I have not to talk about them anymore; but I had MCITP and MCTS ;-)

I love the internet and spend about 12 hours a day working with it. You can absolutely find me on Facebook, Twitter or Flickr and I’ll be there for you. I really like to catch up with friends but unfortunately I don’t have much time for that (Maybe once in a month). I listen to music a lot! My favorite type of music is Trance and I’m following Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Tiesto and Paul Van Dyk’s weekly podcasts on iTunes; so I think I’m up-to-date in my favorite music.

I always looking forward for new technologies stuff and really trying to improve my knowledge every single day because I love learning stuff!

Hi my name is Mohammad Mahdi Ramezanpour.

As you may know, my previous blog was at http://mmr.name and I had uploaded a lot of posts in it. but I think those posts weren’t so useful except a few of them; so I decided to establish a new blog a better domain name (ramezanpour.net).

Ramezanpour.net is much better than my previous website URL (mmr.name) because it shows my identification clearly.

I hope I can send more useful posts here and this will be my official website forever.
